"Sleep disturbances in persons with Down syndrome"
Many international recent reports have shown that 60% of the children with DS syndrome aged even 4 months have OSA ((Obstructive Sleep Apnea). At the same time we know that sleep problems affects learning and development.
Jacqueline London will give some new practical information to better handle these problems in the population with DS according to ages. A specific mention will be given also to the relation between apnea and COVID-19 in these days of pandemic.
Besides her manifold professional experience, Jacqueline has been an EDSA member since many years, she is in EDSAs scientific advisory board and founder of AFRT (French Association for Research on Trisomy 21) and now AFRT Vice-president.
